Materials Needed for Maze

Here are the materials you’ll need to create your hallway spider web.

White Streamers or Yarn
Masking Tape or Painter’s Tape (won't stick to your walls)
Large and Small Snowflakes
Winter Door Covering (if it ends in a doorway)
Fishing Line
Scissors

How to Make Your DIY Indoor Obstacle Course

1. Choose Your Indoor Space

Find a hallway space that will work for your rainy day game or a Frozen Birthday party.

The maze can end in a room where you have your Frozen party, or just a space for kids to wait while everyone participates

2. Put Up Your Door Covering

If your winter maze ends at a door, put up the door covering first. I used this tinsel door covering to give it a winter shimmery look like ice.

3. Hang Snowflakes From the Ceiling

Hang snowflakes to create your winter indoor obstacle course.

It is easier to hang the snowflakes from the ceiling before you add your streamers to the walls.

I used these already-made snowflakes and tied each with fishing line to hang. The fishing line makes it seem as though the snowflakes are suspended in the air.

4. Tape Your Streamers to the Wall

Hang white streamers in your hallway to create a cool DIY Winter Indoor obstacle course for kids to run through. Use painter's tape to hold the streamers on the walls to look like ice.

Start at the end and move your way to the start
Tape one end of the streamers to the wall and stretch them across the hallway at different angles.
Place some high to step over, some low to crawl under, and some in the middle to duck through.
When you’re in the middle of the maze, hang your snowflake from a fishing line and tape it to the ceiling.
