1. Snowman Stack

Try and Stack the Snowman in this funny Winter Minute to Win it Game. Players have 60 seconds to use chopsticks to stack large marshmallows. A great party game for winter classroom parties, Christmas party games, teen parties, or family game nights. Learn how easy it is to set up this one minute challenge.

Supplies Needed – Bag of Marshmallows & Chopsticks

How to Play – Each player is given 4-5 marshmallows and a set of chopsticks. Players then have one minute to use the chopsticks to stack the marshmallows without them falling over.

Tip: if you have younger kids, let them stack with their hands.

2. Snowball Toss

Supplies Needed – Bag of Large Marshmallows & blue solo cups

How to Play – Have each player pick a partner on their team. Have the partners stand 2-4 ft across from each other, each holding a blue solo cup. Give one of the partners a marshmallow to hold.

When the timer starts, the players need to toss the marshmallow into their partner’s solo cup. The winning team has the highest number of throws that make it into the cup in 1 minute.

Tip: If you want the game to be harder, get the miniature marshmallows to throw.

3. Snowball Drop

This fun Snowball Drop game is a quick and easy Winter Mintue to Win it Game for parties. A simple group game rolling ping pong balls into solo cups that kids, teens and adults will be excited to play. Supplies Needed – Blue or White solo cupspainter’s tape or masking tape, white ping pong balls

How to Play – Set up by taping 5 plastic cups to the edge of the table for each player. Have players stand at the other end of the table, across from their set of solo cups.

Each team can have two players working together or choose one individual to compete for each team.

Players or Team members are given 10 ping pong balls. If you buy white ping pong balls, you can draw a face to make it look like a snowman.

When the timers start, players have 1 minute to roll as many ping pong balls into the cups as they can. 

If they drop balls on the ground and there is still time, they can pick up the balls and keep going.

The winner has the most ping pong balls in their cups after 60 seconds.

4. Ice Race

Funny indoor winter Ice Cube Race Mintue to Win It game for kids, teens and adults. Easy to play with styrofoam blocks between players knees during the hallway race. Supplies Needed - Styrofoam blocks (ice)

How to Play - Set up a start line, and across from it, place a chair that players will need to walk around. Give each player a styrofoam block (ice block) to place between their knees. When you say go players need to race with the ice block between their knees around the chair and back to the finish line. The first player back to the finish line without dropping the block wins.

Supplies Needed - Bags of cotton balls, paper plates

How to Play - Each player is given a paper plate and a bunch of cotton balls. They have 1 minute to try and stack up the cotton balls as high as they can on their plate to create a snow castle. The player with the tallest castle that doesn't fall when the timer goes off wins. 

6. Snowball Takedown

Supplies Needed  - Solo cups (white or blue) and Fake snowballs

How to Play - Stack up the Solo cups into a pyramid on a table. Players have 60 seconds to try to knock down the cups by throwing the snowballs. 

Tip: Have younger players stand closer, and adults and teens stand further away. 

7. Candy Cane Hook

Funny Candy Cane Winter Minute to Win It Game trying to hook the cane canes. An easy and quick 60 second challenge for family Christmas parties, classroom parties, holiday parties, Ugly Sweater parties, or holiday office parties. Learn how to play!

Supplies Needed – Candy canes and empty bowls

How to Play – In an empty bowl, add 5 candy canes lying on the side of the bowl. Players will each be given 1 candy cane that they will put between their teeth.

When the timer starts, they need to use the hook side of the candy cane to try and pick up the candy canes in the bowl and take them out. 

8. Snowball Pick up

Fun Snowball Scoop Winter Minute to Win it Game scooping cotton balls from one bowl to another. A quick 60 second challenge that kids, teens and adults can play at Christmas parties, classroom parties, family game nights or winter birthday parties. A cheap and easy party game for all ages!

Supplies Needed- cotton balls or white pompoms, plastic bowls, and plastic spoons

How to Play – Each player is given a plastic spoon, 1 empty bowl, and 1 bowl filled with white pom poms or cotton balls. The player will put the spoon between their teeth and use it to try and scoop the cotton balls out of one bowl and add them to the other bowl. 

Tip: When done, let the kids use the cotton balls for an indoor snowball fight.

9. Snow in the Trunk

Supplies Needed – Empty tissue boxes, Belt, 10 white ping pong balls or marshmallows, Blue or white wrapping paper

How to Play – This game is Junk in the Trunk Winter edition. The first thing to do is make your winter box. I wrapped my tissue box in blue or white wrapping paper to make it a winter game.

To make your box, first wrap a Kleenex box in wrapping paper, making sure to leave the area where you pull Kleenex tissues out unwrapped.

Next, cut two slits on the opposite side of the box opening. Then have the belt go through the slits.

Lastly, add to the box 10 ping pong balls (snow) and place the box around a player’s waist with the belt.

Players then have 1 minute to shake out all their ping-pong balls. This is hilarious to watch!

10. Winter Fort Challenge

Race to see who can build a fort the fastest in this fun Winter Minute to Win it Game. A quick and easy 60 second challenge trying to be the fastest builder. A great group game for winter classroom parties, Christmas parties, winter birthday parties, slumber parties or family game nights this winter. Learn how to play this easy one minute challenge!

Supplies Needed - Popsicle Sticks

How to Play - Each player is given 28 Popsicle sticks. When the timer starts, they have 1 minute to create a fort by stacking 4 popsicle sticks for the bottom layer and keep stacking up as high as they can without the fort falling. The player with the highest fort after 60 seconds wins. 

11. Cookie Face

Supplies Needed – Oreo cookies or flat cookies

How to Play – Have the team member playing sit in a chair with their head facing up on the back of the chair. Then place an Oreo cookie on a player’s forehead in the center, but not touching their eyebrows. When the timer starts, players try to get the cookie into their mouths by using their facial muscles. 

12. Holiday Push

Fun Winter Minute to Win it Game for kids, teens and adults pushing a Christmas ornament with a holiday gift box. Funny group game to play as Christmas party games, classroom holiday games, holiday office party game, Ugly Sweater parties or family game nights. Find out how easy this party game is to set up!

Supplies Needed – Holiday gift box folded downround plastic ornamentspainter’s tape

How to Play – Create a start and finish line with painter’s tape on the floor. Make the lines 6 -12 ft. apart. I like to use painter’s tape so it won’t leave a mark on your floor.

Give each player a folded-down gift box and a round plastic ornament. When the timer starts, players use the box as a fan to roll the ornaments across the floor to the finish line.

Players can not touch the ornament with the box. They can only use the wind to push it across the floor. The first player to cross the finish line in 1 minute wins.

Tip: Make sure you get shatterproof plastic ornaments so they don’t break on your floor.

13. Wrap a Snowman

Supplies Needed - Toilet Paper

How to Play – Break up the group into teams of 3. One player will be the snowman that gets wrapped up. The other two players have 1 minute to wrap the entire person with toilet paper to look like a snowman.

The first team to finish wrapping wins, or the team that has wrapped the most when the timer goes off, wins.

14. Keep the Snowball Up

Supplies You’ll Need – White balloons

How to Play – A fun Balloon Keep It Up game. Give each player 3 white balloons that they need to keep up in the air for 60 seconds. If a balloon falls there out. The player who is still juggling the balloons after 1 minute, or whoever lasts the longest, wins.

Tip: Make the game easier for younger kids by using only 2 balloons and harder for older kids, teens, and adults by adding a 4th balloon.

How to Play – Line up cups on one side of a table like a pyramid. Give each player ping pong balls that they will try to bounce into the cups.

How to Play – In the middle of the room, place balloons that you have blown up. When the timer starts, the player will race to the balloons and try to sit on or stomp the balloons to pop the snowflake.

Supplies You’ll Need – Large Wooden Spoons, Ice Cubes

How to Play – This is a team game with 2 players competing against other relay teams.

First, set up the game by giving each team a wooden spoon and a large ice cube. Set up a starting line with painter’s tape on the floor and set a chair across the way from each team.

When the timer starts, the first player will race around the chair while balancing the large ice cube on the spoon. Then they pass the ice cube onto their teammates’ wooden spoon.

The second player then races around the chair and back to the starting line. The first team back wins.

18. Find the Hidden Snowball

Find the Hidden Snowball in this funny Winter Minute to Win It Game. A quick 60 second challenge searching for a cotton ball under solo cups. Easy to set up and funny to watch makes it a great group game for winter birthday parties, Christmas parties, classroom holiday parties, or family game nights this winter.

Supplies You’ll Need – Cotton Ball, Blue Solo Cups

How to Play – Place 20 solo cups on a table and hide a cotton ball (snowball) under one cup. Players have 1 minute to try and find the snowball. Write down the time each player finds the snowball, and the player with the quickest time wins.

19. Swat the Snowball

Supplies You’ll Need – White Balloon, Fly Swatter

How to Play – Players place one hand behind their back and hold a fly swatter in the other hand. They then must keep a white balloon (snowball) up in the air for 1 minute.

20. Hula Hoop Toss (Group Game)

Supplies Needed– Hula Hoops and White Pom Poms

How to Play – This is a fun team game. Lay out a hula hoop on the floor for each team. The team members will all line up in a single file at the starting line across from their hula hoop.

When the one-minute timer starts, the first team member will try and throw a white pom pom into the hula hoop. When they get one in the next player on their team tries to get a pom pom into the hula hoop. Keep going like this until the timer goes off. 

Have each team count the number of pom poms they got into the hula hoop. The team with the highest number of pom poms wins. 

21. Snowy Sticker Match

Match the snow stickers on Hershey Kisses in this fun Winter Minute to Win it Game. Players have 60 seconds to find as many matching stickers as they can before the timer goes off. A great party game for Christmas, classroom winter parties, winter birthday parties, holiday parties or family game nights. A simple game all ages can play together!

Supplies You’ll Need – Hershey Kisses, Small Round Winter Stickers

How to Play – Start by placing winter stickers on the bottom of 20 Hershey Kisses. In the middle of a table, place 20 Hershey Kisses with stickers and 20 without stickers.

Players will face off across from each other with kisses in between. When the timer starts, players have 60 seconds to find as many matching Hershey Kisses stickers as they can.

If they pick a kiss without stickers, they put it back in the middle. Only taking out the kisses with stickers and placing them on their side.

The winner is the player with the most Hershey kisses with matching stickers on them after the one-minute timer is up.

22. Flying Snowball

Supplies You’ll Need – Plastic Spoons, White Ping Pong Balls

How to Play – Players will pull back on their plastic spoon with the ping pong ball on it and try to shoot it across the room. Players who fling the ping pong ball the furthest win.

23. Peppermint Stack

Supplies You'll Need - Bag of Peppermint Candies

How to Play - Each player is given a bunch of peppermint candies and has 60 seconds to try and stack as many peppermint candies as they can without the stack falling over. After the one-minute timer is up, the player with the highest stack wins. 

24. Christmas Card Drop

Fun Christmas Card Game Minute to Win It Challenge for kids, teens and adults. A quick one minute game trying to push the Holiday cards off the table. Funny Christmas party games, classroom game, Ugly Sweater Party Game or White Elephant Party Game. Super easy group game for holiday parties.

Supplies Needed – 8 Christmas Cards

How to Play – Line up 8 Christmas cards on the edge of a table. Have the player stand on the opposite side of the table and give them 1 minute to blow the 8 cards over the edge of the table. The player who blew over the most cards in under 60 seconds wins. 

Tip: If the table is rectangular, use the shorter sides for this game. 

25. Find Rudolph's Red Nose

Supplies Needed – Pie Tins, Whipped Cream, and Cherries

How to Play – Fill pie tins with whipped cream and 1 cherry for each player. Place the whipped cream pie in front of the players and have them place their hands behind their backs. Players have 60 seconds to use their faces to find the cherry. 

26. Frozen Maze 

Fun kids Winter Minute to Win it Challenge racing through a Frozen ice obstacle course for hallways. The 60 second challenge is an easy to set up indoor obstacle course with a fun winter theme kids will love. Great kids activity for winter birthday parties, classroom games or family game nights.

Supplies You’ll Need – Painter’s Tape, White Streamers

How to Play – In a hallway, tape white streamers (ice maze) across the walls at different angles like a laser maze. Players have one minute to race through the ice without pulling any off the walls and get back to the starting line.

Supplies You’ll NeedWhite, Blue, or Red Pom-Poms, Tweezers, Two Bowls or Plates per player

How to Play – Each player is given a bowl/plate full of Pom Poms, tweezers, and an empty bowl. They then have 1 minute to move as many Pom Poms with the tweezers over to the empty bowl as they can before the timer goes off.

Supplies Needed – 6 Gift Boxes, Wrapping Paper, and Jingle Bells.

How to Play – Fill 6 boxes with different quantities of jingle bells. Wrap each box and add a number to the box. Have players shake the boxes and listen to the bells.

Then put the boxes in order from the least number of bells to the box with the greatest number of bells. 

30. Snowball Fight

Race the clock to see which team can throw the most snowballs before the one minute timer goes off. How to Play -This is a great game for large groups. Split up into two groups, with each team going to one side of the room. Make a tape line down the middle of the room. Players can pick up snowballs that are thrown on their side by the other team and throw them back, too!

When time is up, each team counts how many snowballs are on their side. The team with the least amount of snowballs wins.

Supplies Needed - Big Bag of Peppermint Candies, 2 large bowls for each player

How to Play - Players are given two bowls, one filled with peppermint candies and one empty bowl. Players place their hands behind their backs and have 1 minute to try and use their mouths to move as many peppermint candies as they can into the empty bowl. The player with the most candies in the originally empty bowl when the timer goes off wins.

How to Play: On the ends of a table, give players a straw and Pom Poms. They have one minute to use the straw to push as many pompoms as they can across the table and over the edge to the floor. The player with the most pom poms on the floor after 60 seconds wins. 

36. Snow Shovel

Supplies: Eye Mask, Cotton Balls, Large Rubber Spoon, Basket or large bowl

How to Play: Players put a mask over their eyes and have 1 minute to use the spoon to shovel up as many cotton balls as they can onto their spoon and drop into their basket. The player with the most snowballs in their basket after 60 seconds wins. 

37. Snowball Balance

Supplies: Popsicle Sticks, Miniature Marshmallows

How to Play: Players place a popsicle stick in their mouth and have to balance as many miniature marshmallows as they can on the popsicle stick. 

38. Mitten Flip

Supplies: Solo Cups, Big Thick Mittens

How to Play: Set out a bunch of solo cups in front of each player and have them put on mittens. They have 1 minute to try and flip as many cups as they can over to stand up the opposite way. The player with the most cups flipped over when the timer goes off wins.

Supplies: Hockey Stick, Large Ice Cubes, a Hockey Net, or a Finish Line
