Easy & Cheap Fall Decorations from Dollar Tree
DIY Fall Decor
I have to admit I am not very crafty at all. However, I have found a couple of simple DIY fall decor projects anyone can do.
These cute crafts can be done in about 10 minutes and will get your house ready for the autumn season.
Make sure to check out our Christmas Decorations at Dollar Tree too!
DIY Project Fall Wreath
What you will need: metal wreath forms, a roll of fall seasonal ribbon (called decorative mesh), and fall garland (make sure to pick out ones with fall colors)
1.Wrap the ribbon around the metal wreath form, then tuck the end of the ribbon into the form
2. Wrap the fall leaf garland around the ribbon and adjust it to look nice.
3. Hang up your wreath on your front door or as a wall hanging in your house.
Fall Wooden Tray
Add fun fall items you can pick up at Dollar Tree to a wooden tray to make the perfect centerpiece on your countertop or table.
1. Pick up a mixture of ceramic and styrofoam fake pumpkins and small wooden acorns. Honestly, you can use whatever you find that's fall-related at Dollar Tree.
2. Add a tray/box in the middle to add height to the pumpkins,
3. Covered the whole tray in fake fall leaves.
4. Layer your fall pumpkins on top of the leaves.
Fall Centerpiece Tray
What you will need: 1 bag of artificial leaves, small plastic pumpkins or buy real mini pumpkins (not at Dollar Tree), and a white platter
1.Spread out the fall leaves on your white platter.
You could also use maple leaves or other real leaves you pick up outside that have turned pretty colors. They just won't last as long in your centerpiece as the faux leaves.
2. Place pumpkins on top of the fall leaves.
3. Place on your kitchen table or side table
It turned out cute with a silver platter too! They also have gold platters to use at Dollar Tree stores.
Fall Baskets Centerpiece
Create an easy Fall Basket to display with different-sized pumpkins and large fake leaves.
1. Add a fall-patterned towel to a wooden basket and a bow
2. Add a small box to the bottom of the basket to give height to some of your pumpkins. You can also use newspaper to prop up the pumpkins to different heights.
3. Add in pumpkins of different sizes and colors.
4. Add the fake leaves around the pumpkins to hide the boxes or newspaper underneath.
Fall Centerpiece Ideas for Tables
Fall items you'll need for this Farmhouse look as your cute centerpiece.
What You Need - Fall artificial flowers, Silver pot, foam block from floral sections, Pumpkins on a stick, berries on a stick, and a burlap bow.
1. Place the foam block at the bottom of your Silver Pot.
2. Start adding in all your flowers, pumpkins, and berries. I placed the berries on the bottom so they would fill in any gaps left by the flowers.
There are tons of fall options, so use your imagination here on what to add to your flower pot.
Placement on a round side table with small dollar store pumpkins around the bucket.
I found these cute orange foam pumpkins that worked perfectly.
Or make cute fall table decorations for your dining room table. I used a fall ribbon from Dollar Tree as my table runner and placed on top cute Scarecrows and faux pumpkins on either side of the Fall pot.
Fall Decorative Vases
What you will need: 2 tall glass vases, 2 different colors of burlap ribbon, 2 stalks of faux leaves, 4 bags of candy corn
1. Measure the burlap ribbon around the glass vases and cut to size. My ribbon was a little wide, so I cut it in half so I could fit 3 levels of burlap. Adjust the ribbon to the size of the vases you buy.
2. To attach the burlap ribbon, you can either use a hot glue gun or just pull the ribbon tight and use some clear tape. The clear tape actually worked well, and there was no mess.
3. Add the bags of candy corn or small white beads from Dollar Tree, which would work great, too.
4. Add in your stalk of faux leaves. Adjust the stems until you get the look you want. When the leaves turn colors in your yard, you could use a small branch from your yard, too.
I added these vases with my pumpkin centerpiece, and it looks great.
Fall Pumpkin Vase
Make a quick fall table display by adding small styrofoam pumpkins to a vase. Add the pumpkins to a few vases to make a display, and then add a fall wooden sign in front to finish it off.

Make it extra special by adding the twinkling lights they have at Dollar Tree, then surround the vases with pumpkins. I put it against a backsplash wall so you can't see the on/off switch for the lights.
I do this with my Dollar Tree Christmas Decorations, too. Just add Christmas ornaments instead of pumpkins to your vase.
Halloween Table Decorations
Create cute Halloween table decorations with a few Dollar Tree items.
What You Will Need - Pumpkins of different sizes, Skulls, and black netting.
1.Lay the black spooky netting across your table. I bunched it so it had more texture and worked as your table liner.
2. Add to the top pumpkins of different sizes (the orange ones on the end light up!), and skulls. The purple pumpkins and skulls came in a pack so it was really cheap.
Thanksgiving Table Settings
What You'll Need - Fall Ribbon, styrofoam pumpkin, scarecrows, white plates, fall napkins, fall dish drying clothes, a fall sign, and fall leaf chalkboard signs.
Create a beautiful Thanksgiving table with the fall centerpiece items you've created above.
1. Use one of the fall centerpieces you created before to go down the center of the table.
2. Add a fall placemat at each seat. Or I used a fall dish drying cloth as my placemat.
3. Next place white plates, fall napkins, silverware, and glassware on the table. I used my own wine glasses and white plates but they have several cute fall glasses and plates you could use too.
4. Lastly, create fun name cards so your guests know where to sit with small fall leaf chalkboard signs. Add them on top of each plate for added decorations. Bonus - When you're done, erase the names and use the signs again next year for place settings.
New $5 Section - You might also want to add this cute Fall Lazy Susan & ceramic pumpkins we found in the new $5 area of Dollar Tree Holiday items. I have it on my kitchen counter right now.

They could do this over and over again during the fall season and hang them up in the house as decorations. Find tons of kid craft ideas at Dollar Tree.

Table Cloths
Create a beautiful Thanksgiving or Halloween party table with fall-inspired plastic tablecloths plates, napkins, and glasses.
I love to use plastic tablecloths, especially when we have kids over who will inevitably make a mess.
With a plastic tablecloth, once the party is over, you just dump the whole thing in the garbage with no cleaning.
Place Settings
Liven up your Thanksgiving table with fall-inspired dishes.
You'll find fun leaf-themed plates, bowls, wine goblets, and gold charger plates to fancy up your dinner without spending a ton of money.
The leaf motif is generic enough to make it easy to use at any time during the autumn season.
Paper Plates and Napkins
I like to use fall paper plates and napkins for appetizers and desserts at our parties, especially at a bigger get-together like Thanksgiving. The Halloween plates are great for any kid's party you throw too!
Anywhere I can cut down on cleaning dishes is a win for me! When serving appetizers or desserts, I usually get some napkins with a cute saying on them, like the one above.
